In September of 2009 the boundaries of the South Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center were amended to encompass the entire 34th congressional district. This addition of over 45 square miles includes new sections of unincorporated Los Angeles county, eight new cities, and the Central City, Central City North, and Boyle Heights communities of the City of Los Angeles. Because our expanded geographic focus takes in areas which the State of California has defined as Targeted Employment Areas (TEAs), SELARC's amended Regional Center designation benefits our clients in a number of important ways.

1. The minimum EB-5 investment has come down from one million dollars to five hundred thousand dollars.
2. We are now authorized to work with a greater number of employment multipliers reflecting a wider range of business and business investment.
3. A greater diversity in investments means our clients can invest sooner and with greater security.
